Peanuts - 1 cup (roasted & without skin )
Red chillies - 4
Tamarind pulp - 3 Tsp.
Coconut - 5 Tsp. (shredded)
Salt to taste
Seasonings:
Mustard seeds - 1/4 Tsp.
Urad dhal - 1/2 Tsp.
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Oil - 2 Tsp.
Method:
- Grind the coconut, roasted peanuts, red chillies, salt with tamarind pulp and little water.
- Heat oil in pan and splutter mustard and add urad dhal, curry leaves and add the seasonings to chutney.
- Add water to the chutney and bring it to your required consistency and check for salt.
- Serve it with Idly, Dosa, Upma.
