Rice -1 cup
Lemon juice - 1/4 cup
Turmeric powder -1/4 Tsp.
Green chillies - 3 Nos.
Ginger - 1/2" (chopped)
Curry leaves -1 sprig
Mustard -1/4 Tsp.
Urad dhal -1/2 Tsp.
Channa dhal -1/2 Tsp.
Asafoetida - pinch
Cashew nuts or peanuts - 6
Oil

Method:
- Wash and cook rice with salt or even left over rice can also be used.
- Heat oil in pan (kadai) splutter mustard seeds and add channa dhal, urad dhal, curry leaves, Asafoetida, green chillies, chopped ginger, cashew nuts.
- Now add lemon juice, Turmeric powder and wait for 2 to 3 mins and take it off from flame and mix it with rice.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it with potato fry or Egg fry.
* Even chopped onions and grated carrot can be sauted in oil and added to make it more tasty and colourful.
