Rice -1 cup
Coconut - 1 cup Shredded
Green chillies - 3 Nos.
Ginger - 1/2" (chopped)
Curry leaves -1 sprig
Mustard -1/4 Tsp.
Urad dhal -1/2 Tsp.
Channa dhal -1/2 Tsp.
Asafoetida - pinch
Cashew nuts or peanuts - 6
Oil

Method:
- Wash and cook rice with salt or even left over rice can also be used.
- Heat oil in pan (kadai) splutter mustard seeds and add channa dhal, urad dhal, curry leaves, Asafoetida, green chillies, chopped ginger, cashew nuts.
- Now add shredded coconut and saute for 2 to 3 mins (without changing the colour of coconut) and take it off from stove and mix it with rice.
