Potato Fry / Potato Masala

Ingredients:

Potato - 1lb (1/2 kg)
Onions - 1Nos.
Curry leaves- 1 sprig
Turmeric powder- 1/4 Tsp.
Chilly powder -1/2 Tsp.
Garam masala powder- 1/4 Tsp.
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Oil
Salt to taste

Seasonings:
Mustard -1/4 Tsp.
Urad dhal -1/4 Tsp.
Fennel seeds -1/4 Tsp.

Method:

  • Boil the potatoes , peel the skin and cut in to cubes.
  • Heat oil in kadai , add seasonings & curry leaves .
  • Add onions saute till golden & add potatoes , salt & all the masala.
  • Saute for 5 -7 mins & garnish with coriander leaves.
